The United Nations today launched a groundbreaking new multimedia website, Momentum.tl, that pays tribute to the achievements of the people of Timor-Leste since they embarked on the path of independence in 1999 and marks the departure of UN peacekeepers from Timor-Leste after 13 years.

Timor-Leste thanks Portuguese Police for helping secure peace


Dili, 24 November 2012 Timor-Leste today says goodbye and thank you to police officers from Portugal for their role in helping secure peace and building the capacity of the country’s national police.
